I'm very tired. Paige decided to get up last night at 11:30 and stay up until I finally practically forced her to sleep in my arms at 5 a.m.. She had a bad dream. Well many, I'd say. I had to go in her room numerous times before the final awakening. The crying and whimpering is as sad sound as any. So feeling sorry for the continuous nightmares, grinding teeth (I never knew she did that!) and miscellaneous sad noises, we watched the Critics Choice Awards (ha ha Angelina) and finally I gave in to Hanna Montana and the Disney folk. (She loves it, but I say she's still too young)
Point being, this morning at breakfast, yes, breakfast was still served on time. (How do they do it! I'm so sleepy!) She finally decided to tell me what was so horrendous last night in her sleeping mind.
" I had a bad dream last night. The whole city broke, our house broke, the sun broke, and my beautiful backyard broke and that's it."
Good job mommy. That's what I get for watching Armageddon week on the History Channel. In my defense, I didn't know she was paying attention!
Goodness....

Just like her mommy!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell Paige that I have nightmares too and I'm a grown woman but its no fun when your kids get nightmares but I have the advantage of knowing how they feel. It's very childish of me!
ReplyDeleteSorry this is delayed. I had the Mirana (can't spell it) IUD. It has given me grief in the past and I was stupid for using it AGAIN. I think you should be good though if you have never had problems with yours. I wouldn't sweat it:)
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing good thanks for the congrats!! Stay in touch and take care!!
Oh my gosh that is so cute, sad, and funny at the same time, lol. Who knew she had such a vivid mind! Just like mommy! Loved the story!
